Le Fornaci in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo)

Construction and marketing of 160 housing units developed in a complex on the site of a decommissioned industrial brick factory. Some existing architectural features of interest were kept, such as the “Hoffman” oven and stone walls. The complex has been developed like a "village" with designated urbanised areas, private and public gardens, comunal areas which will encourage residents to meet and use the area, which is located near the historical town centre of San Giovanni Valdarno (just a 5-10 minutes walk) in a pleasant area at the foot of the hills on the edge of the residential area of the town.
