Substantial involvement in the construction of railways, road and motorway networks have called for collaboration within the consortium for the production and processing of construction aggregates. The experience and skills they have acquired mean they are now to develop within this sector, and the fact that they have been granted permission to mine some pits which they actually own will result in them producing their own materials at some time in the not too distant future, which will result in economic benefits and quality control.
